There’s a Gambian Food Stall that has opened up at Deptford Market; you can catch them there on Fridays and the weekends – I have forgotten their name (hope to update you guys soon) but I certainly haven’t forgotten to remind our community that there are a host of small-medium sized Gambian inspired supper clubs and food popup shops humbly scattered within London’s diverse African Food Joints Scene.
Do checkout some who are not featured here such as Mai Ceesay and Ousman Mbye who are seasoned and very good Gambian sous chefs. There are more than 20 Gambian inspired foodie places in London actually and below are some of the Best Five that you can look forward to:

They have fresh arrivals of ‘Kabba’, Delicious Palm oil from Guinea and Bisaap Amut amongst others from their East Ham base. The staff are very friendly also – and they have a van that regularly travels to the midlands and north of the country to serve the community outside London – #Good on them =)
