Black History Month with a special culinary element. London in October 2017 for those that don’t know has a number or classy and stylish African Food Joints happening within the M25 and beyond. We are all aware that African Cuisine is being enjoyed all over London and it’s rise is continuing. Supperclubs, Food Pop-ups, Central London Restaurants and Amazing Takeaways such as I Go Chop,  LOLO KitchenChuku’sFaaji Sundays and more have been and still are gracing various Londoners alike. African Cuisine Galore in October 2017! 1) ‘Ounjẹ’ Eight Course Fine Dining Lounge

An Eight Course Menu Tasting Private Banquet in London of African Cuisine doesn’t happen in London every year – if not in a life time. But that is exactly what Ounjẹwill bring to you this October. This event without doubt is one of the standout African Supperclubs of the year. Cuisinier Victor Okunowo will be showcasing his take on the African (Nigerian) dishes and flavours in celebration of African Cuisine redefining what it means to dine in the African community.

A few weeks ago; we teamed up with Victor who hosted a private menu tasting course to the delight of the invitees such as Makele’s Mouthful,  Dai Suki Smile and Who’s For Dinner? thoroughly enjoyed the outlay of the East London based maestro.  Victor will be hosting a ‘Pan African 8 course tasting meal’ on Sunday 8th October 2017 for £50s. The name of the event (Ounje) translate literally to (Food) in the Yoruba dialect. You can look forward to an 8 course tasting meal, boasting the flavours and culture the motherland has to offer.

The Young East London based Talent, will be exhibiting Africas culinary heritage, ranging from the fresh fish caught on a daily basis, to the exotic meats farmers hunt in the wild, all captivated by the marriage of herds and spices unparalleled any where else. All this is brought through a millennial mind, supported with the influence of gastronomy and the moderne cooking methods and plating. Furthermore, Victor is also co-founder of the successfully and widely reviewed mobile barbecue service Grill N’ Roses BBQ will celebrating #BlackBritish, #Nigerian and #African Heritage Food at the East London based Pill Box Kitchen in London.

Patricia Pascoal is an Angolan Author based in London, Patricia was born in Luanda. she is an Interior Designer by Profession and Author who established a reputation for creating food Recipes literature of Angola.

She created her first book on the 24 November 2011 called Angolan African Recipes Cuisine and with her second Book to be revealed on 21 October 2017. Ms Pascoal Book will be available in English and Portuguese .

On the 21 October Ms Pascoal will be signing your preferred book selection English or Portuguese, old book or new book.

Little Baobab is back with our night of delicious Senegalese Food and live African music, popping up again for ONE NIGHT ONLY on Friday 20 October. The soul of Little Baobab are chef Khadim and musician Abdoulaye Samb. Originally from Dakar, Senegal, the friends have lived in London for many years and forged strong links with the local multi-cultural community, many of them musicians, who regularly play live sets at the restaurant.

ENTRY is £28 per person and includes a three-course Senegalese feast and music from some of our favourite live acts: to be announced soon.

Angella and Make Happy’s Jonathan will present an evening of mini-workshops based on the model that Jonathan taught Angella at the HATCH Enterprise Incubator, and inspired her to start her supper club. The masterclass will use Angella’s Kitchen as a model to demonstrate Jonathan’s Social Business Canvas. We will intersperse sessions on the Canvas with delectable Jamaican-inspired dishes from Angella, cooked fresh on-site.

The Supper Club is a wonderful opportunity not only to put your aspiring business idea to the test but to sample some delicious cuisine with influences from the Jamaican North Coast.
