‘Suya Spot’ have created a pop up experience that not only centers around a Suya infused menu but that also gives you a snapshot of Afro nightlife. We (AfricanCultureBLOG) were gutted to miss their late April pop-up but rumour has it there’s a May 2017 Pop-up somewhere within the M25 districts of South London this month – but we’ll keep you posted. This UK based Suya Pop up serves and aims to keep serving up sizzling suya hot off the grill on an ad-hoc basis. If you see an event happening near you be sure to pop by!

If you’re of African descent it’s more than likely you’ll be familiar with Suya and in that case no more words are necessary. If you’re not, or haven’t experienced the pleasures of this delicacy then we have a treat in store for you with ‘Suya Spot’.
Suya itself is a spice perfected over decades by the streetfood vendors that you’ll find amongst the hustle and bustle on the streets of Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan and several countries on the continent. The aroma of the spice, cooking over succulent pieces of beef or chicken, draws punters from sunrise to sunset.
